So when I started my business as a beachbody coach. (Distributor of P90X, insanity, Turbo Fire, ) I realized one thing. I didn't know anything about marketing. I knew the programs were great but how do i get others to see the same thing that I was seeing. I posted on twitter, facebook, made videos and listened to every MLM strategy. nothing worked. I then made a list for myself. What do I believe makes a successful at home business. Here is what i have found.
1) Rejection -( I know tough 1st choice). No matter how much you love it, others will think you are in a pyramid scheme, it's no fault of your own, it's just the bad reputation of an online business. Until you are a full time on line successful business owner, people will think you are wasting their time. Understand that their will be rejection and move on.
2) Every avenue is an opportunity - Right now there are so many people clamoring for information about your business. You must do your own research, get on line and find all of the different avenue to educate, not sell, educate. You are offering products that answer a question. My answer is that. Team beachbody products can offer you a solution that can help you get in shape at home. simple.
3) Help your downline - Their success is your success. Help people who are looking for help, Too many people sign up for a business and their upline becomes so successful that they truly don't help others, that is criminal, If someone signs up to be in your business, make them feel important. you can't run their business for them but you can be available to answer questions.
4) Become a source - I am Positive Fitness Chris ( www.positivefitnesschris.com ) I am a source for positive motivation to work out. I am reliable and willing to help people whether they are in my business or not. So they may not become customers, so what, they know that when they talk to me they are going to hear upbeat comments and motivational success stories. It is who i am. Business or otherwise. I am nothing but positive.
5) Celebrate Success - Did you get a new customer, coach, sponser, tell people. Let them know that you are honored to have them in your business. Let them know that you believe in them. Let others know if you move up in rank. Everyone loves hearing about success. Some may resent but others will look at you and may say:Hey if he can do it, i can do it too.
6) Passion and never giving up - You will probably not be an overnight sensation but if you have the passion and the right tools, you will succeed. Take your business seriously and have a passion for it. If you don't believe in it, people will see that.
7) Solutions not products. - I hate people that sell me things. I love people that offer me solutions. My solution are workout home programs. Make your living room your Gym, simple.
Finally, it's not a hobby, you are in control of how hard you work your business. You decide your worth, it's your business. don't be jealous of others people success. Start writing your success story.
