Being a Beachbody Coach Palooza - Positive and Negative (Mostly Awesome)

About 6 months ago I became a beachbody coach.  I have met so many people during this experience and their value to my life is more than they will ever know.  While starting this new venture, I have met a lot of coaches, some are tremendous.  Tim Barry, Maria Cappa, Angela Noell, Stephanie Snider Hale, Alicia Mekis, Michael Saure, Jill Touchet Woolfork, Diane Carroll Nunez, Natalie Sardone.  I could bring up so many more and if you have them as coaches or thinking about being a coach I could not recommend them more highly.  They are crazy about this business and will probably give you their left arm to see you become successful.

The first question I get from potential people when they ask me about this business.  "Is this a scam" What is this beachbody thing and can I truly make money doing this.   When I took this leap I asked myself the same things. Here are my answers.  This is an at home business and you become an independent distributor of beachbody programs.  There are several ways to make money including 25% commission on sales, commissions on club membership and finally recruiting other coaches into the business.  If you have seen a p90x,insanity or turbo fire commercial on TV then you know what beachbody is.  You also get a 25% discount on all beachbody programs.  (Insanity Asylum coming soon Yipee!!!)
Like any new business venture, money is not going to be flying in off of trees.  you need to market yourself as a product of the product.  People love results and these programs provide you so many programs to get you in shape Beachbody also provide a back office of success stories from real people showing real results. I am so pumped about this business and believe that anyone can make this happen that I created my own website deddicated to helping coaches get up and running.  www.positivefitnesschris.com.  You can make money doing this, if you put the effort into it.  The first step is to be a product of the product.  Buy a program, get results, share your experience.  That's how this business works

I put out a posting to my coach friends and asks them the positive and negative things about being a coach and here are some of their responses.  As with any business ventures, there are negatives, Here we go.

Positive - Great programs, discounts, getting fit, meeting incredibly positive people. Negative - Convincing people this is an awesome opportunity and not a scam, pushy coaches caring about the sales and not about the person -This is from me :)

You can't say enough positive things about Beachbody. In-home programs, "something for everyone"; you get a chance to try something new and different and push yourself to the next level. Nothing like seeing real people and real results. That is what I love the most. The negative for me is the frustation from people who are hesitant to try it; although I do understand that seeing how many different things are out there, but the proof is in the product. Why not take a chance on improving your overall health and get PAID to do it!!!

My husband just asked if I was going to be "working out of the home" and that was not an option. GOOD THING IS...I dont HAVE to...unless I want to. I have sold TW for 15 yrs and know how to do this with my eyes closed, with that said. The product will sell itself. Just keep talking the talk.

Positive - This is an awesome opportunity and not scam, Negative - Pushy coaches. Coaches that make the rest of us look bad. Stealing friends, spamming there link on every page they can find.

Positive for me: This has truly changed my life. I have gone from an obese, food addicted, unhappy and unhealthy person, to a soon to be marathon runner, personal trainer, public speaker. Beachbody has given me the platform and opened doors that would not have ever been opened.

All Positives for me! It holds me accountable for my own success in getting fit healthy by focusing on helping others. The products and programs are phenominal!

I love what it does for me as far as helping me stay focused on my own goals as I help other people achieve theirs. I hate being a salesman, so that's probably why I don't make very many direct sales, and I don't like constantly having to worry about growing my business, but it is hard not to when you see so many others doing it so rapidly.

Ok, so that is the skinny, Check back on the blog and see some more entries in the future.
Check my site out and let's fight this obesity epidemic and help others
