So I start a brand new job on Monday and wanted to tell you how Beachbody and especially Insanity saved me. I know a lot of really smart people who have lost their job recently for no fault of their own and feel blessed to finally getting back into the 9-5 world. I kept my sanity (No pun intended) simply because of a workout program.
When you lose your job and you have time on your hands, there is not alot you can control, you stay up too late and you wake up late. With 3 kids, you get up early and I really started to feel worn out and not myself. I consider myself a pretty positive person and sometimes I try to not reality blur my view of the world. At the end of the day I have a great wife and great kids and I needed to find a way to be a valuable member of family.
The way I found beachbody was one of those late night infomercials. 60 days pure cardio. they called it Insanity. I thought to myself that is what I needed but I never bought anything off television. All of these people were in there 20's and in great shape then I saw the program and it was a kick ass program. I always thought that I would buy it and then after a week it would live behind my JFK and Secret of my Success DVD's but I tried it. I needed something to kick my ass.
This program saved me from becoming bored and cranky and desperate fora job. I started to take care of myself. I realized this layoff was the best things for me. I could finally focus on my physical well being. I weighed 227 pounds when I started and I know weigh 195. Thats 32 lbs and I never felt better. Check out my pics Insanity Pics!!!.
I was bombarded by coaches who wanted me to be a coach. It was a little frustrating because I felt they didn't care about me but they cared about making money.
I met my coach Crystal Sykes and she has been great. Offering me motivation, checking in with me and asking me about me. She didn't really care if i became a coach, she just wanted to connect and talk about our fitness journey. I knew she wasn't a triple diamond coach so iknow she would be someone I could chat with about the beachbody business.
In early May I became a coach, I have told people about the opportunity and most people kind of shy away from it because they think it is a scheme. It was very frustrating because I knew these programs worked and with so many people needing a fitness boast, this business could be great.
I started to get customers. Thank you Jane, Pete, John and all my customers it is why I do this. the first questions they ask is how did youlose so much weight. I tell them insanity and they say what is that. I drop down and give them someski abs which believe me i could have never done before and it felt great. Most interactions lead to no business but it is great to feel so awesome about a company and what they are trying to do.
Being a beachbody coach is something I thought I would never do a million years. I always wanted to start my own home business and this opportunity is such a no brainer. I have some people ask me about it and I simple say this. Do the research,buy a product, check it out, there are some start upcost but in total it is under $100.00 bucks. $100.00 bucks to start your own business is nothing. There is no guarantee for success but if you work hard and open up your heart to new opportunity,it is a great business.
