Getting into shape is not about words. there have been many times that I told myself that today is the day. Their are really only 3 things you need to get into shape. They are by no means easy but if you follow them, there is nothing that can stop you.
1) A Plan - 30 Days, 60 days,90 days. You need to set a goal that you will develop a plan and that my x date you will not deviate from that plan. I personally like Insanity and the 60 day plan. Words mean squat. Everyday you have to look at your fitness plan as you do going to the bathroom.You have to do it,no excuses. If you had to go to the bathroom,would you say you are too tired. iknow this sounds nuts but the plan needs to be like that in your mind set.
2) Informing everyone aobut your plan and holding yourself accountable - No one can tell you what to do. You have to decide that your plan is the bible. If you miss a workout,double up the next day no excuses. You have a business trip. Get to the gym after dinner or early morning. This is hard work not a coffee break. I don't or I can't should not exist in your vocabulary. no excuses.
3) Motivation - Look at other people who have transformed their lives through fitness and diet. There is no reason that can't be you. If you need motivation. I can help. I am a beachbody coach and would love to help you on your journey. positivefitnesschris@yahoo.com
I am slowly starting to realize that being in shape is about committing myself to not succumb to pain and negativity. It is what I can do that matters. Remain positive. There will be setbacks there always will be but rely on your coach and your friends to help you.
